Cebu Travel DIY 2016

MY CEBU AND BOHOL ITINERARY (4 Days and 3 Nights)

1st Day

We had our flight in Cebu last September 29, 2016 at Terminal 2 via Philippine Airlines. We just got our promo ticket 8 months ahead so we had long preparation for this tour. We did a lot of research and make an itinerary.

We had our free meal and the baggage allowance of 10kg per head is already included on the ticket. We just plan backpackers instead so it could be a less hassle for us to get the luggage in the carousels when we arrive in Cebu.This is just some brief introduction guys.

We ride a hybrid bus at the airport and just pay 25 per head going to SM. We get a taxi there heading to our hotel and we pay 100 pesos. We didn't get a taxi from airport because it might really expensive. We just had an early check-in to the hotel and just drop-off our luggage.

 After that we head to our first destination which is on Sirao Flower farm and Temple of Leah,

We already booked a hotel there via travelbook.com . So for those who
haven't credit cards also has an options there. You can use this app and just read the instructions on it. Just don't forget to bring your valid ID's always and print out the booking information on your emails.

We chose a budgeted accomodation so we stayed at Fuente Pension House that is located at Fuente Osmenia circle which is accessible to some malls, restaurants and other hotels. Also the transportation there is good. We got a room for only 2823.79 for 2 nights already
. The cost of the room is only for 3 persons only so that we add P150 for the additional person since we are 4 in our group. They already had free breakfast for 3 persons so still the additional person may need to add extra charges for that. Since we are not able to catch their free breakfast so we didn't avail it.

This is our room there. We had 3 beds and it was very spacious for us. Sorry for our stuffs that makes the room so messy at the picture heheh. 

Our first destinations are Sirao Flower Farm and Temple of Leah which is they are both along the road.
We ride a jeep going to JY square mall which a lot of habal-habal parked there and waiting some passengers. We don't have any choice because taxi is very expensive and habal-habal is the only common transportation from our destination. They cause us 300 per head for 2 destination for a round trip and 2 person per one vehicle, (the entrance is still not included) The price of habal-habal is still negotiable. The travel time took us almost an hour going on our first destination.
tips: You should not forget to bring caps or umbrellas and a bottled of water.

 habal-habal with the driver. They are very cool nice to us. 

SIRAO FLOWER FARM

The entrance in Sirao Flower Farm is P30 only. You could take an unlimited pictures there with your travel buddies. You could also buy some flowers there if you want and I don't have any idea by their price.

TEMPLE OF LEAH

After that we head to Temple of Leah. It seems that it is still under construction and they make it more beautiful. It feels like we were on a castle of the Greek Gods and Goddesses. The view is so great because we were on the top of the mountain that makes it looks like we were on top of
the clouds. The entrance here is P50 only.

2nd Day (BOHOL)

We woke up at 4am and went out 5am at the hotel. The Pier going to bohol is just 10-15mins away only. Since the first trip will be at 6am. We already bought our ticket and pay the terminal fee.

Since we don't want to be hassle to our destinations, we plan to just rent a car. We got our rental fee around P2500-P3000 per car. Its still depends on how you negotiate for the price. Their service is great. Our driver is very friendly. he become our tour guide and also the photographer as well. Take NOTE; all the destination still has an entrance fees.

You will see a lot of rental cars at the port.

Our first destination will be on Loboc river, it is an hour away from the port. We had our lunch there while the balsa is cruising along the river. It is an eat-all-you-can buffet with Filipino cuisines. 

The buffet lunch will cost of P450 per head.

After our lunch we went to Loboc Eco Park.

The zipline here is the best. It is from mountain to mountain and we saw the loboc river where we had our cruise while having our lunch. It was an awesome experience. After the zipline we went to a cable cart going back. We weren't able to take the picture as we are frightened to drop our gadgets.

We went back to the port since our departure time is 6:30pm. It will be possible to delay the time at night here so we must be patient always. We are delayed for an hour so we arrive at Cebu at 10pm.

3RD DAY

Canyoneering

Badian

We woke up at exactly 3am and we went to the Cebu south station at 4;30 am. The terminal is 10 mins away from our accommodation only. We almost depart at 5;30 am since we waited for our bus to be full. (it was a non-aircon bus) It cost us P126 pesos going to Kawasan Church. we travel for almost 3-4hours.

We had our reservation online before we get there. Our agency is Kawasan Canyoneering, we contact them on their page in Facebook. Since we are just 4 in our group. We can't get a discount. I think if you are more than that on your group, you can still negotiate to their price. 

We pay for P1500 per head.

• Safety Gears (Helmet/Life Vest)
• Safety storage of your things
• 2 tour guides
• Habal-habal ride 
• rent of umbrella going to the trail

 You can also rent a shoes there.(I don't have idea how much the cost of shoes rental there since we had our own). Bring some dry bags so you can carry your gadgets along the way.

 Better if you have action camera's. You can just give it to the guides so they can capture your activities there. Don't worry, they are good photographers too. They can also carry your gadgets there along the way.

Before we start the trail, we travel for almost 1 hour in a habal-habal ride then walk for 1 and a half hour again going to trails. They borrow us an umbrella. 

Our adventure here is fun and unforgettable. It was a fulfilling feeling when we already conquer those extreme trails. The go-with-the-flow slides, numerous jumps, climbing and walking. Must Try!
